We received a call from a client about noises coming from the attic during the night. She stated that it seemed to be something new that hadn’t been happening for very long. From our inspection we identified a few flying squirrel droppings. Two gabled vents were found which had hole through their insect screening. Additionally two corners of the house had expandable foam which had been chewed out by mice. While setting up and proofing the house for the flying squirrels we offered to remove the foam and replace it with a more sustainable and effective barrier for mice. One way doors were installed over the vents and left for five days to evict the flying squirrels. Afterwards they were removed and vent covers were installed thusly making the house animal proof.
