A client notified us about animal noises inside one of her walls. During the inspection multiple vents were discovered which had their vents destroyed by squirrels which were using the attic. Flying squirrel droppings were also found inside the attic. The client felt that there was a squirrel stuck in the wall. He had been hearing nosies all day but it had stopped about an hour before our arrival. He insisted we open up the wall to check. The beginnings of a squirrel nest was discovered, it was quickly removed. From findings it was determined that a gray squirrel had entered by way of a bathroom vent and had begun constructing a nest in the wall. A trapping program was set up but it was revealed that the female squirrel had abandoned the house after all the commotion. To prevent her, or any other squirrel, from returning the vents were covered.
