Raccoons in the attic…
Spring is the time when raccoons are going to find dens for having litters of young. Do you hear noises in the attic? It could very well be a raccoon.
Raccoons get into the attic in various ways. Often times they will dig an entrance at the roof edge. If storm gutters aren’t cleaned often, or the roof is getting old, the edge is the easiest place to dig in because the wood gets compromised there first.
In this photo, a raccoon did just this. You roof can go from what seems to be perfect, to a doorway for raccoons in the attic in a matter of minutes. Call us now if you hear noises in the attic, and avoid the more costly damages that will occur if it is left unchecked.
