A call came in about a chipmunk that was inside the lower level of a house. We set up a few traps on the inside to remove it. Upon our inspection it appeared that the chipmunk had gained access through the sump pump and into the basement which was part of the lower level living space. While outside we found various areas that were vulnerable including a large gabled vent, a soffit area and various other cracks and crevices between the stonework and siding on the house. We gave the homeowner a price to seal everything up which he accepted. The following day the chipmunk was captured. After we continued to monitor the basement for any other chipmunk or mice for several more days as we sealed up the vulnerable areas outside.
