Job Type: Bat Removal [Emergency Services]

We received an emergency call about a bat discovered by a dog in a backyard. When we arrived we were able to identify it as a Hoary Bat. Although they are not uncommon around here they are rare to run into because of their non intrusive behavior unlike the Big Brown Bats that nest inside attics and other parts of people’s homes. As per Westchester Department of Health regulations it will have to be tested for Rabies, which eventually came back negative.
