Being located in Southern Westchester, Larchmont is approximately 35 miles away from our home office which equals about a 35 minute travel time. However Intrepid is in or around Larchmont on a daily basis. This is a town that consists of a diverse animal habitats. With its proximity to The Long Island Sound the waterfront areas provide beneficial conditions for semiaquatic animals such as muskrats, raccoons, opossums, and skunks. Since the Village of Larchmont was founded back in 1614 a number of houses and structures date back to the colonial period. Many of these homes have aged and can provide a shelter and habitat for wildlife such as bats, flying squirrels, raccoons, woodchucks and skunks.
Larchmont Squirrel Removal:
We schedule after inspection after we a client heard squirrels in their attic. We found two entry points outside of the house. Intrepid then set up a humane trapping program. As a result we removed six squirrel in live traps and covered the houses vulnerabilities to prevent any future squirrels from gaining access.
A client called us regarding noises being heard in the attic during nighttime hours. An inspection was done which revealed flying squirrel droppings. Various holes and several vulnerable vents were located and targeted for trapping. After a few days and a few captured flying squirrels the holes were sealed and the vents had custom covers installed on them preventing any further infestations.
