The Peekskill Police Department contacted us around 5:30am on a Saturday about a bat in a bedroom. We immediately responded to the call and were on site within minutes. The bat was found in the curtain of the bedroom window. It was prepared for the lab and was delivered to the Westchester Department of Health. The results came back negative for Rabies. The home owner asked us to come back out in the springtime to bat proof their home.
